That's right, everything takes money. The project goes at the speed of the money. The Lake Pelican Water Project District can apply for any grant that any other water district can apply for. The district can also receive grants, contributions and donations from any interested, caring or concerned party, group or organization. With 86% approval, the residents and landowners inside the watershed have also levied a tax upon themselves. The LPWPD is a taxing entity.
